Memory Boats

I am deeply interested in creating artworks that evoke remembrance of place; artworks that elicit attention to the beauty of the land in the hopes that it will encourage greater mindfulness in tending to our shared environment.

My work embodies my roots as a feminist, my strong ecoconsciousness, and centers on my keen interest in the intertwining realms of memory and psyche as aspects of self and cultural identity. Resonant with depth psychology, my work embodies aspects of my inner and outer landscapes that are influenced by myth, ritual, dreams, and archetypal imagery.
